September 2010 was another trip to China, visiting the Shanghai Expo 2010, a visit to Nanjing, Nanchang, and the beautiful Lushan Mountains. We finished it with a trip to the Porcelain Capital of China, Jingdezhen. It was also a chance for me to take a USCPFA delegation going to the 4th Friendship Forum in Jiangxi Province of China. So, See my trip back to China.

November 2008 was another opportunity to be part of a USCPFA delegation going to a Friendship Forum in Hunan Province of China. It is on of the most beautiful parts of China. Zhangjaijie National Forest Park. Zhangjaijie National Forest Park
A special delegation of 10 USCPFA leaders went to China May 8-21, 2004 to join the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Chinese Peoples Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC). It was a special treat to participate with delegations from the friendship societies of Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, both in the formal events like the Friendship Forum and in chats on the bus, at meals, and after hours. Not to mention the fun touring we did.
We have both always wanted to go to Scandinavia and in 2002 when we found a cruise from the same ship we sailed 10 years ago going our way, we just had to go. The Baltic Sea Cruise. Copenhagen
Shanghai Delegation In April of 2002, I had a chance to be part of a delegation commemorated the 30th Anniversary of the signing of the Shanghai Communique in China. Here you can look at my photographs and a report written by USCPFA's Barbara Cobb.
When Traveling to Computer Shows, I often have the luxury of a digital camera to use and so take some pictures for newsletters and the APCUG. Here is the Group from Fall Comdex 2000. Fall Comdex 2000
Forbidden City China, long a land of mystery and adventure from Marco Polo to pirates of the South China Sea. I traveled from Beijing to Tibet to Hong Kong to see over 5,000 years of history. From my trip of Sept 2000.
Next is the island of Cuba. The influences of history from Spain to Africa are everywhere. What took us there was to learn about how Cuba is a microcosm of cultures from the Caribbean to the revolution. From May 2000. Cuba Images
Comdex 88 More pictures from APCUG events at Fall Comdex 1998. Yes, this is Las Vegas and a night picture of New York New York hotel.
In Sept. 1998, we took our trip to Portugal. It is a wonderful country. Full of history that spans the modern times back through the Spaniards, the Moors, Visigoths, and past the Roman Empire to the Celts who first settled there. What sent us here was the World's Fair in Lisbon and it was fabulous. Lisboa
